The existing bin filling structure had reached the end of its working life and needed to come down. We handled the whole job from start to finish: removing the old structure, engineering and fabricating a new one in our shop, then transporting it to site for assembly and installation. Once the new structure was standing, we re-installed the customer's bin filling equipment so they were back up and running without having to bring in a second contractor.
Scope of work:
This one came down to giving the customer a single place to load and unload. We plumbed in a new stainless tank farm and built a central connection point, so instead of working tank by tank, everything runs through one location. All the stainless piping was welded using GTAW (TIG welding), which keeps the welds clean and suited to product that has to stay uncontaminated.
